Olga DeAnna Cruser Cain Holt, 85, passed away on December 19, 2023, at home in LaVerkin, Utah, with her brother, Jess at her side and with some wonderful care givers that she wanted to be present as she came to her final rest. She was born April 30, 1938, to Charles Merril and Clara Reeder Cruser in Bringham City, Utah.

In her primary years DeAnna moved to Idaho, where she later graduated from Roberts High School in Roberts, Idaho. She continued her education at Utah State University in Logan UT where she received her bachelor's degree in elementary education, then continued from there to her specialty in working in Special Education.  She retired from being an educator in the Granite School District in Salt Lake City, Utah. She resided in West Valley City, Utah for 50 years.

DeAnna was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many callings. She served a local mission both in Salt Lake County and in Washington County as a member record keeper. She had a kind loving spirit and cared more about others than she did about herself.

DeAnna was a "snowbird." Both she and Richard would reside in LaVerkin, Washington County, during some of the holiday and winter seasons.

She loved to travel, particularly to historical sites. In her travels she had visited Norway, all the Scandinavian boarders, along with seeing Great Britian, the Caribbean, Mexico and had visited the states Hawaii and Alaska.

One of her favorite things she loved to do was read. She would read any and all books she could get her hands on, and she read her scriptures very faithfully. She kept her reading up until the day she could no longer do so.

Both her first husband, Ralph Henry Cain (whom she married in the Ogden Temple) and second husband, Richard Holt, preceded her in death. She is survived by her two brothers and 1 sister-in-law, 2 stepsons and their wives, numerous nieces and nephews and step grandchildren.

Funeral services to be held on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the West Valley City LDS Chapel, 4100 S. Bangerter Highway, West Valley City, Utah. A visitation will be held Saturday, prior to services, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment to be held at Brigham City Cemetery immediately following the services.
