St. George, Utah – Deanne C. Hill was called to her eternal home on February 6, 2024, at the age of 84 in St. George, Utah. She was born on August 30, 1939, to Cloyd and Elaine Christenson in Gunnison Utah.

Deanne was a beacon of humility and grace, and her spirit was a testament to the divine virtues of patience, love, and tender acceptance.

Her life was a living example of the Savior's call to nurture and compassionately care for one's family. She embodied a deeply genuine love and commitment to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren – leaving a legacy that can only be described as a manifestation of God's pure love on earth.

Her gentle soul and the respect she held for all of creation was reflected in her service and compassionate care of those she loved and anyone in need.

Deanne leaves behind a grateful family who will strive to honor her memory in their daily lives: Jeff (Shawn), Greg (Jolie), Mechelle, Ronnie (Tiffany), Richard, Bryant (Natalie); her 20 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

As Deanne ascends to her heavenly home, her example will continue to inspire all who knew her. Deanne's love and teachings will forever be a guiding light for her family and for the many lives she touched.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to Memory Matters in St. George, Utah. An organization from which she benefited.

The community will gather to celebrate Deanne's life on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. in the Metcalf Mortuary Chapel, 288 West St. George Blvd., St. George, Utah. A viewing will be held Saturday, prior to services, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Mortuary.  Interment will be in Tonaquint Cemetery, 1777 South Dixie Drive, St. George, Utah.
