Derrin Bruce Pollock, age 45, of Washington, UT passed away on December 19, 2023. He was born in Las Vegas, Nevada to Dale and Shauna Pollock. His family moved to Washington, UT when Derrin was 5 years old, and he attended Washington Elementary, Pine View Middle School, and graduated from Pine view High School in 1997. Derrin was also an Eagle Scout. He took welding classes in high school and went on to make that his profession. He worked for many years at St. George Steele.

Derrin also had a true love for pets of all kinds, he had salt-water fish tanks for many years and loved to entertain his nieces and nephews by showing them his latest fish, and he was very passionate about all his hobbies and interests. Derrin was very kind-hearted and could look past people's differences and be a friend to everyone. He was a little quirky and loved to make you laugh. Another of his interests was bowling, he bowled on leagues for many years and on March 4, 2002, he bowled his first perfect score of 300, then he went on to bowl his second 300 on Jan 25, 2016, both at Dixie Bowl in St. George. Derrin was also the proud father of two children who he loved very much.

Derrin was preceded in death by his grandparents, Woodruff Pollock and Arda Faux Pollock; grandfather, Russel Gibson; and his father, Dale Bruce Pollock. He is survived by his son, Brodie James Pollock; daughter, Trianna Shaylynn Pollock; mother, Shauna Pollock; and siblings: Brent Dale Pollock (Tracy), Trisha Pollock Slaugh (Jaymon), and Angela Pollock Hafen (Kelvin).

A graveside service will be held on January 13, 2024 at 11 am at the Washington City Cemetery, 300 Park View Drive, Washington, Utah.
