St. George, Utah - Donald Leslie Clawson, 84, died in his home in Saint George, Utah on Thursday January 25, 2024. He was born in Modesto, California in 1939 to Fred L. Clawson and Roma H. Dotson-Clawson. On October 26, 1968, he married his love, M. Rochelle Burr in the Oakland California Temple.

Don was loved by many as a son, brother, uncle, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend. He is preceded in death by his wife, Rochelle; and siblings: Sandra Johnston and Larry Clawson. He is survived by his siblings: Les Clawson, Dave Clawson, and Nancy Clawson; his 12 children: Angela, Troy, Candice, Jared, Shelleen, April, Melodee, Todd, Linzie, Chad, Dallan, and Deric; 42 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at 1:00 p.m.at The Metcalf Mortuary Chapel, 288 West Saint George Blvd, Saint George, UT, 84770. A viewing will be held Wednesday, prior to services, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment will be in Tonaquint Cemetery, 1777 South Dixie Drive, St. George, Utah.
