St. George, UT - Donald Robert Dunham passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at the age of 78. He was born in Los Angeles, California on September 23, 1931 to Robert and Lucille Burt Dunham. He married Janet Dial Nowling on August 22, 1964, and had two sons, Robert Hansel (1966) and Richard Donald (1967). He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Following the war, he used his GI benefits to graduate from Los Angeles State College. He joined Life Circulation Company in 1963, a subsidiary of Time, Inc. The firm later changed its name to DialAmerica Marketing, where he ascended to Senior Vice President of Marketing during his 25-plus years with the company. He retired with his wife to St. George, Utah in 1994. Throughout his adult life he was actively involved with several service organizations, including Civitan International, Exchange Club, and Rotary International. He was an ordained deacon and active member of Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church of St. George, Utah. He is survived by his wife, Janet, of St. George, Utah; son Robert (with wife Michelle) of Winston-Salem, North Carolina and son Richard of Atlanta, Georgia. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 24, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church, 611 North 2450 East, St. George, Utah.
