Our Mother, Donna Wilson Wright joined her eternal sweetheart the morning of March 29, 2017. Born to Samuel Robb Wilson and Olive Alta Wilson on July 13. 1919. Donna married her childhood sweetheart Ward Wright on her twentieth birthday after pursuing him from the time they met in the second grade.
Donna was a lifelong resident of Hurricane Utah, where she worked at Clifton's Market and as a chair side assistant for Dr. Kenneth Heaton.
In her younger years she and Ward were avid square dancers with the local Calico and Jeans Club. She loved her cabin "On the Mountain" Kolob where she would gather her family together. There she spent many happy days after her retirement. Donna was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served by her husband's side for many years in the St. George Temple .
Donna is survived by her sons: Sidney (Norma) Wright, Sam (Jojean) Wright and Chad (Cherie) Wright; and brother, Jerrold Wilson. She was the grandmother to 17 grandchildren and 52 great-grandchildren. A special thank you to Michelle Hughes who was both a companion and care giver to mom the last four years of her life; her nephew, Greg and Merridee Gibson who loved and served her always; Shauna Elwess, her constant friend and neighbor; loving friend, LaRene Barney; and the late Vera Hirschi, her nurse and one of her "kids"; and her newest friend, Debi Adams, her "Kindred Spirit" who made our last moments with mom beautiful.
Friends and family are welcome to celebrate her life
