Diamond Valley, UT - Doreen Latoski returned home to her Heavenly Father on November 20, 2009. She was born July 19, 1936 in Rodborough, England to George and Edna May. Doreen came to the United states in 1956. She was married to Chester Lounsbury and had three children. Doreen joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1962. She loved the gospel and the many different auxiliaries she served in, especially girls camp. She loved to camp and cook and vacation with her family. After retiring from Moore Business Forms, she worked at local elementary schools. She loved working with children. She loved her children and grandchildren and was dearly loved by them. She was remarried in 1984 to William Latoski. They enjoyed their time spent on Cedar Mountain and fishing at Lake Mead. She has battled Alzheimers for the past 6 years. Her husband Bill was by her side and took care of her until she returned home. Doreen is survived by her husband Bill Latoski, her children; Keith Lounsbury, Karen Lewis and Kevin (Jody) Lounsbury, Stepchildren; Keith Latoski and Traci Perry, 20 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, brother Lionel and his wife Jean and her niece Diane, and Jane May. Her family would like to thank Applegate Hospice for their services. And would especially like to thank Debbie, Maggie, Katee, Chanty, Donna and many others for spending time with mom. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Metcalf Mortuary Chapel, 288 West St. George Blvd., St. George, Utah. Visitations will be on Saturday from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at the mortuary, prior to services. Interment will be at the Tonaquint Cemetery.
