St. George, UT - Doris Lockhart Wren, 85, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2020. A private graveside service will be held at Forest Park Cemetery West in Shreveport, LA.

Doris was a devout Christian, a true woman of valor (Proverbs 31). A native of Georgetown, Louisiana, she graduated from Jonesboro-Hodge High School where she served as parliamentarian for the Home Economics Club, then completed an education degree at Louisiana Tech. She was a lifelong Sunday School and 1st grade teacher, and a devoted wife and mother.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Charles Ray Wren; her father and mother, Cortez and Ruth Lockhart; and brothers: Ray and Oliver Lockhart.

She is survived by her children: Halli Johnson (Mel) of St. George, Utah and Heidi Peacock (David) of Lexington, South Carolina; grandchildren: David Michael and Catherine; sister, Martiel Cooper (Charles); brother, Wesley Lockhart (Jane); and many cherished nieces, nephews and friends.
