Salt Lake City / St. George, UT - Dustin D. Southam, 43, passed away on March 5, 2014. He was born on June 4, 1970 in Salt Lake City to Glade and Marilyn Southam.

Dustin was raised in Draper, Utah where he attended Alta High School. He graduated from the Weber State College of Engineering where he excelled in his career as a Molding Engineer. Dustin loved wood working, geocaching, biking, hiking, the Running Utes, movies, and animals (especially his cat, Winney.) He had an infectious laugh and a great sense of humor, which we will miss dearly. Dustin lived in St. George at the time of his death, but he preferred the cool weather of Salt Lake City.

Dustin is survived by his two children who he loved with all his heart: Natalia and Zachary Southam, (West Valley City, Utah); his parents, Glade and Marilyn Southam (St. George, Utah); siblings: Debra Southam Buchanan (Murray, Utah), Brian Glade Southam (St. George, Utah), and Brenda Alayne Southam (St. George, Utah); nephew, Parker Chase Buchanan (Murray, Utah). Dustin also leaves behind many dear friends and family, including the mother of his beautiful children, Marcella Abarca Southam.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 10, 2014 at 10:00 a.m., with a visitation at 9:00 a.m., at the McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah. Interment will be held in St. George, Utah on Monday at 4:00 p.m. in the Tonaquint Cemetery located at 1777 South Dixie Drive. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Metcalf Mortuary, (435) 673-4221.
