St. George, Utah - Dzidra Erglis Yallouris passed away July 14, 2012. She was born July 27, 1926 in Riga, Latavia to Roberts and Kate Kocers Erglis. She lived in Latvia , Germany, Australia and U.S.A. She married Nicholas Yallouris, a Greek from Alexandria, Egypt in Sydney, Australia. They were happily married for 22 years. Dzidra loved music, ballet, dancing, swimming, walking, writing, reading and she loved animals, especially kitty-cats. Shes found homes for over a hundred homeless animals. She worked in music stores in Sydney, Australia and Torrance, California. Dzidra joined the LDS Church on May 7, 1977. She has served as stake missionary for 5 ½ years and as a Relief Society President. She also served three proselytizing missions for the Church and has served in the Temple for 30 years. She loved the Lord and the Gospel very much. Dzidra is survived by families and friends in Riga, Latvia, Sydney and Melbourne, Australia and friends in the U.S.A Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 21, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. George LDS East Stake Center, 449 South 300 East, St. George, Utah. A visitation will be held Saturday, prior to services, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Stake Center. Interment will be at the St. George City Cemetery.
