St. George, Utah - E Paul Williams passed away March 22, 2011 at age 83. Born September 1, 1927 to Edward Paul and Ema Olivia (Roan) Williams in Sharon, OK. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Janie Davis, and his half brothers George, Louis and Granville Williams. He is survived by his wife Barbara, sons Eric (Cheryl) and Mark (Teena), 10 grandchildren, one great grandson, sisters Harriet Baker and Mary Lou Enlow. Paul spent his early years in Sharon and Woodward, OK. He served in the Navy during WW II. Upon returning from the service, he married Barbara Jean Ford in 1953. He and his family moved to CA, where he served as a BSA executive and spent many years as a successful sales representative. After retiring, he and Barbara moved to AZ and served a mission at the LDS Family History Library in Salt Lake City, UT. They later moved to Ivins, UT and served as temple workers in the LDS St. George Temple. Paul was a warm hearted and compassionate man. Most everyone who knew him quickly learned of his sincere character. He had strong convictions about his faith and was always true to his beliefs in Jesus Christ, the atonement and the restoration of the gospel. He was not ashamed to share his feelings about the gospel as an expression of his love for others. The family wishes to express appreciation to Utah Hospice Specialist and all those who cared for Paul. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 28, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Red Cliffs LDS 8th Ward Chapel, 625 East Center Street, Ivins, Utah. A visitation will be held Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at the Chapel, prior to services. Interment will be at the Ivins City Cemetery.
