Hurricane, UT - Edna Mayleen Cox Doramus passed away of cancer November 2, 2009. She was born in Hurricane, Utah May 18, 1936 to Amos and Edna Matthews Cox. She married Ilif Van Leuvan. She later married Harold Doramus. She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and one brother, Daniel Christie. She is survived by her son: James E. Van Leuvan; daughter: Suzann Abbott; sisters: Cheri Christie, Bonnie Atkin (Rollins), Dorene Sisson (Les), Barbara Christie; grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Saturday, November 7, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hurricane City Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the Hurricane Valley Mortuary, 140 N. Main Street, Hurricane, Utah.
