Edward Byan joined his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ the afternoon of June 11, 2025.

Edward was born September 23, 1938, in Georgetown, British Guyana where he married his wife, Juliette who gave birth to daughters Angela and Amanda and a son Adrian who pass in infancy.  The family moved to New York and made Hurricane, Utah their home. Amanda married Joseph Furia, and they reside in New York.  Angela married William Sickert, and they reside in Hurricane, Utah with mother, Juliette.

Edward was a wise and gentile presence to the family with occasional eruptions regarding the performance of his beloved football team, the New York Jets. Edward defined the concept of a family "unit" with unequaled love and his immense sense of caring for others.  Family meant the extended aunts, uncles and cousins and friends that would test the occupancy capacity of their home as Ed placed the final touches on the best of barbeque food for everyone.  His early days as a cricket player in Guyana fueled his enthusiasm for outdoor activity and indoor viewing of sports competitions of any discipline.  His greatest honor was giving and his proudest moments included giving his daughters away in marriage with Juliette by his side.

Edward leaves all those who knew him with a better sense of kindness, generosity and friendship that will endure in their lives.  The outpouring of messages and stories upon his passing was a comfort to the immediate and extended family and will continue for all the days until they rejoin Edward in the paradise promised by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
