Obituary

St. George, Utah- Edward V. Moore passed away on April 7, 2015 in his St. George, Utah home of natural causes at the age of 95. He was born on October 18, 1919 in Salt Lake City to Albert and Lella Pearl Moore. He married Gai (Millie) Wilcock in Washington, Utah on Aug. 28, 1999. He was preceded in death by his former wife, Ferrol Kincade. He spent much of his life living in many locations throughout Utah, but his favorite place was the Uinta Basin. He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Ed was a jack of all trades, from driving taxis and trucks to construction and sales. He worked several years for the U.S. government in Guam, Saudi Arabia and the Aleutian Islands. He was an excellent pianist and singer, entertaining many with his musical talents. He also loved going dancing with his wife, Gai. Ed was also an author and original thinking scientist. He wrote several books about futuristic architecture and technology, and their roles pertaining to the Millennium and New Jerusalem. He is survived by his wife, Gai, his two sisters, Marilyn Morris and Betty Mae Clark.; and three sons, Phil, Tom and Rod Moore. He also seven adopted children, eight stepchildren, along with multitudes of grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Monday, April 13, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. George LDS East Stake Center, 449 South 300 East, St. George, Utah. A visitation will be held Monday, prior to services, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Stake Center. Interment will be in the St. George City Cemetery.
