Edward Eldon Nelson, beloved husband, father and grandfather, returned home to his Heavenly Father on November 1, 2015, after a courageous battle with Parkinson's disease. Edward was born on April 24, 1938 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter - day Saints and had a testimony of the gospel. His greatest joy was his family. He had a unique sense of humor that will never be forgotten. He was a machinist for Kennecott Copper and made many friends. He used his knowledge and talents to master any challenge and helped anyone in need. He was an avid sports fan and loved the outdoors. He was a hard worker and passed this legacy onto his children. Edward is survived by his wife; Helene Gull Nelson, his five children; Bill Nelson (Christina), Stacey Mulliner (Wynn), Tina Ward (Jon), Chad Nelson (Annie), Todd Nelson, 25 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother; Richard and two granddaughters; Ashlee and Shaylee. A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 6, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. at the Tonaquint Cemetery.
