St. George UT - Eliza Nelson Bundy, 91, passed away quietly in her home on April 27, 2010. She was born April 24, 1919 to James Mark Nelson and Nellie James Nelson in St Johns, AZ. She married William Fay Bundy June7, 1941 in the St. George Temple. She is survived by her husband William Fay Bundy, her children, Darell, Keith, Lloyd (Odie); Jim (Norma), Brad (Kathy), Faye (Ken)House, Sherri, Darla, Boyd (Dawn), four sisters, one brother and numerous grand- and great grand-children. She is preceded in death by her parents, her son Lincoln E. and daughter-in-law Pauline. Born in St. Johns, AZ, she grew up in Blue Water, NM, with her four brothers and five sisters. In her late teens she moved with her family to St. George, UT, where she met and later married her husband William (Bill) Fay Bundy, and started her family. While raising their family, they also lived in Smithfield and Richmond, UT, and Vallejo and Redding, CA. Eliza loved little children. She loved to stay busy and serve others. She loved knitting, crocheting, sewing, cooking, reading and serving in the Temple. She will be dearly missed by us, but we know there is rejoicing in Heaven with those who have gone before. We know she will be waiting with open arms for us when we come. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 1, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Cotton Manor LDS Ward Chapel, 2750 East 350 North, St. George, Utah. Visitations will be held Friday, April 30th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 W. St. George Blvd. and on Saturday from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. at the chapel, prior to services.
