– Elvetta Cole, 83, passed away on June 25, 2016 in St. George, Utah. She was born December 3, 1932 in Barron, Wisconsin to Claude Cole and Maude Thomas. She was the last surviving of twelve children.
Elvetta enjoyed shopping, going out to dinner and baking cookies for fund raisers. She was a great supporter of the Wounded Warriors organization and also loved and supported the Green Bay Packers.
She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings; Harold Cole, Merle, Junior, Clarence, Wayne, Dale, Ethel Henderson, Esther Drive Hawes, Loraine Carlson, Betty Beardsley and Helen Morgan.
She is survived by her four children: Linda (Samuel) Moncada, Sandra (David) Magsamen, Kathryn (Atif) Ishtiaq and Peggy Sue (Brian) Krupp; eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Teresa Natal Cole.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd, St. George, Utah. A visitation will be held Tuesday, prior to services from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the Mortuary. Interment will be in the Tonaquint Cemetery.
