St. Georgre, Utah - EvaLue Lue Jensen, 82, passed away on January 28, 2014 at the Dixie Regional Medical Center. She was born March 9, 1932 in Cove, Utah and was the second of seven children to Nelse and Grace Frandsen. She had another eight stepbrothers and stepsisters from Nelses first marriage. Lue served as a Sergeant in the WAC from 1951 to 1954. Lue married Ferris Garrett on May 21, 1954 in Garland, UT. They had two children, Debbie and Mike. They later divorced.

Lue was a trained florist and loved to share her talents. She made sure that every holiday was celebrated with decorations in her house and front yard with many of the decorations made by her. The school bus often stopped in front of her home so the children could see.

Lue married Jim Jensen on September 1, 2001. Jim and Lue loved to travel, and traveled in their motor home to destinations near (Zion) and far (Kentucky) and everywhere in between. They belonged to the Color Country Ramblers for 13 years and enjoyed the friendships. Lue served as the Assistant Director of the Utah Chapter of the Good Sams Club. They enjoyed spending the past few summers at their property in Star Valley, WY.

Lue is survived by her husband Jim Jensen; siblings: Lorraine Povey (Clifton, ID), Charles (Alice) Frandsen (Ceritos, CA), Dell Peterson (Tremonton, UT) , Deverle (Margene) Frandsen (Franklin, ID), Neldon (Rosalie) Frandsen (Santa Clara, UT), Robert Bob Frandsen (Louisville, KY); children: Debra Ames (Laketown, UT), Michael (Sheri) Garrett (Tremonton, UT), Raymond (Alene) Jensen (Taylorsville, UT), Barbara Paulk (Las Vegas, NV), David (Cathy) Jensen (West Valley City, UT), Dennis (Shelly) Jensen (Sandy, UT), 17 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Metcalf Mortuary Chapel, 288 West St. George Blvd., St. George, Utah. Visitsations will be held at Metcalf Mortuary Friday evening from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. prior to services.

Interment will be held on Monday, February 3, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. at the Richmond City Cemetery in Richmond, Utah.
