St. George, Utah - Flora Hazel Gardner Whiteford passed away quietly on 22 June 2010. She was born 19 December 1931. She was the daughter of Horace G. Gardner and Ethel Flora Petersen Gardner. She married Walter J. Whiteford 4 February 1955. She is survived by her brother, H. Layne Gardner (Donna);sisters: Karen Marie Gardner Kirkeby (Gordon) and Gayle Gardner Sedgwick (Stephen); son: Curtis G. Whiteford (Carol); grandchildren: Marissa Argueta (Alex), Kelly Rhodes (Jeremy), Lisa Daniels (Jess), Rick Whiteford, Ryan Whiteford, Darcy Whiteford, Chris Whiteford, and Bryanna Whiteford; and great-grandchildren: Michael Alexander Argueta, Benjamin Caleb Argueta, Lauren Marissa Argueta, and Landon Jess Daniels. Preceded in death by her parents and her brother, J Lamar Gardner (Janice).

A graveside service will be held Monday, June 28, 2010 at 11:00 a..m. at the Deweyville Utah Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to graveside services from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton, Utah 84337.
