St. George, Utah – Florence Prince Wagner passed away peacefully on May 1, 2024, at her home in St. George, Utah. She was surrounded by family as she slipped into eternity. Just the way she chose it to be.

Florence was born in St. George, Utah on April 17, 1936, to Winnie Cooper Prince and Pratt Pace Prince. She was the third daughter born into the family, preceded by two sisters: Daphane Prince (Harless) and Romaine Prince (Arnold). After Florence was born the family grew with the addition of Louise Prince (Jerdon) and Patrica Prince (Downer). During the World War era the family moved to Basic (later called Henderson), Nevada in 1942 for work. This became the family home until they all left to create homes and families of their own.

Florence has lived in many places over her lifetime. She has lived in St. George, UT; Washington, UT; New Harmony UT; Basic (Henderson), NV; Ventura, CA; Long Beach, CA; Garden Grove, CA; Downey, CA; Huntington Beach, CA; and finally returning to St. George, UT in 2022.

Preceding her in graduating from this life was her father, Pratt Pace Prince (1990); a sister, Daphane Prince Harless (1997); her mother, Winnie Cooper Prince (2010); and husband, Ruben John Wagner (2016).

We are sure a great family reunion was held upon her arrival.

Florence is survived by her sisters, Romaine Prince Arnold (Ed), Louise Prince Jerdon (Tom) & Patricia Prince Downer (David). She also leaves behind her stepsons, Kurt and Greg Wagner and their families. She is also survived by far too many nieces and nephews to mention here. All who knew her loved her dearly. We will miss you our "Dear Heart".

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 11, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Westridge Ward Chapel, 415 Westridge Drive, St. George, Utah.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. in the Good Shepherd Cemetery in Huntington Beach, California.
