Frances Dolce, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and devoted wife, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2026, in St. George, Utah, at the age of 94.
Frances was born on July 15, 1932, in Brooklyn, New York, to Frank Anthony Bode and Anna Sym. She was raised in Queens, New York, where, at the age of 15, she met the love of her life, Jack Stephen Dolce. Their friendship blossomed into a lifelong love, and they were married on December 7, 1952. Together, Frances and Jack shared 70 years of marriage, building a life filled with love, family, hard work, and cherished memories.
Frances shared an entrepreneurial spirit with her husband. Throughout their life together, Frances and Jack owned and operated numerous businesses. Her interests extended far beyond her family and work. Frances loved to travel and explore new places. She also enjoyed cooking and baking, sharing many of her favorite recipes and traditions with those around her. An avid sports fan, Frances loved following sports and cheering on her favorite teams. She also had a deep love for animals and cherished the many animals that were part of her life.
Her greatest joy came from watching her family grow, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought incredible happiness and pride to her life. She treasured the memories made with each generation and leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue through her family.
Frances is survived by her children, Stephen Dolce (Jennifer) of Santa Clara, Utah, and Loren Dolce of upstate New York; her grandchildren, Alexandra, Nicholas, and Geena; and her great-grandchildren, McKenna, Bennett, and Grant. She is also survived by her sister, Barbara Dixon.
Frances leaves behind a lifetime of love and countless memories that will be treasured by her family and all who knew her. Though she will be deeply missed, the love she gave, the strength she carried, and the memories she created will continue to live on through the generations of her family.
