Ivins, Utah - Fred Allin Varela, 49, passed away December 26, 2011 in Ivins. He was born May 5, 1962 in Orange, California to Arthur Munoz Varela and Elizabeth Duran Varela.

He is survived by his parents, Arthur and Elizabeth; daughter, Christina Marie Varela and his granddaughter Victoria Riggs; son, Anthony Ray Varela; brothers: Andy Varela, Anthony Varela, and Ron (Michelle) Varela; sister, Lorraine (Stuart) Reynolds; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family.
