Hurricane, Utah - Gary Lester Ashton passed away November 3, 2008 in Belleville, Illinois. He was born June 18, 1932 in Hurricane, Utah to Lester and Rachel Connell Ashton. He married Esther Faye (Tessie) Durrant.

Gary is survived by his children: Tammie Raychel Ashton, Gary Bennie (Angela) Ashton, Marshanne (Tom) Anderson; 17 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-

grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Esther (Tessie); mother, Rachel Connel; father, Lester (Charlie); brother Leray; daughter, Charlotte Faye Ashton; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, September 3, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at the Hurricane City Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Metcalf Mortuary, (435) 673-4221.
