St. George, UT – Gary Prisbrey , passed away Friday, September 14, 2018 at the Brookdale Southgate Senior Living Center, in St. George, Utah. He was born July 25, 1931 in St. George, Utah to George W. Prisbrey (deceased at Gary's birth) and Effie Walker Prisbrey. He married the love of his life, Vera LaVean Mason of Salt Lake City, Utah, on November 19, 1955; later solemnized in the St. George, Utah LDS Temple.
Gary grew up in St. George, Utah with his six sisters and four brothers. He enlisted in the United States Army and served for two years.
