Gean Frost, returned to her Heavenly Father on August 18th, 2012, her vivacious personality no longer suppressed by Alzheimer's Disease. Mary Gean McMillan was born to Arthur Simper McMillan and Marion Mazzle Spenst on March 8, 1937 in Logan, Utah. In 1942 her mother married Ross Riggins, whom Gean lovingly referred to as Daddy.
She grew up in Salt Lake City and married Jerry Frederick Frost on October 15, 1955. They had 3 daughters- Jeri, Heidi and Jodie. In 1968 the family moved to Minnesota where they lived until returning to Utah in 1988. They were sealed in the Bountiful Utah Temple in March of 2006. Gean had many talents which she used to instruct, entertain and serve those around her. Her work experience included real estate sales and several years in a variety of clothing retail stores. Some of her favorite experiences included teaching early morning seminary, running for mayor, writing road shows, composing countless poems, and playing golf and tennis. Gean loved to be around people and she endeared herself to all with her unique sense of humor.Gean was a dedicated wife and mother for which we will be forever grateful.
She is survived by her husband Jerry, daughters- Jeri Tanner (Russ), Heidi Dexter (Kirk) and Jodie Horgan (Ric), brothers LaMond Frost (Mary), and Allen Frost, 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 22nd at 11:00 a.m. at the LDS Church located at 259 North Mall Drive, St. George, UT. Prior to the service there will be a viewing at 10:00 a.m. Interment, Panguitch City Cemetery.
