St. George, Utah " George Edwin Andrew, 84, went to be with The Lord on April 1, 2014 in St. George, Utah. He was born July 5, 1929 in St. Joseph, Missouri to Joel and Ruth Andrew. George was married to Carol, Alice and Charlotte and out lived them.

George grew up in St. Joseph, Missouri and moved when he was eight years old with his family to Long Beach, California. He retired in St. George, Utah to be near his sister, Donna Cain. He graduated from Long Beach Jordan High School and then attended Biola University. George was a devout Catholic and attended the St. George Catholic Church in St. George, Utah. George was a Fireman Engineer in Long Beach California for 29 years, he also worked on the fishing boats in Alaska, at the oil refinery and was a paramedic. George served in the Coast Guard and was stationed in Alaska. George enjoyed playing golf, going to sporting events, watching sports and talking to his grandchildren about their games and how they did. George was a loving and giving man, laughed a lot and was a great role model for his family.

George was a loving father, grandfather and is survived by his son, Steven Edwin (Tina) Andrew; grandchildren: Kaylee, Karlee, Daniel and David. He is also survived by his sister, Donna (Richard) Cain; nephew, Mark Cain and his step-children: Patricia (Paul) Bradley and Michael Bielat; and step- grandchildren and great grandchildren.

We thank God for the gift of his life and the blessing of time we spent with him.
