IN LOVING MEMORY OF
George
Orlossy
June 7, 1937 – September 22, 2024
On September 22, 2024, George Orlossy (born in Hungary to Frenc Orlossy and Julianna Balogh) passed quietly in his home in St. George, Utah surrounded by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. George joined his beloved wife of 60 years who passed 3 days prior.
They had a true love story and did not want to be apart. The family is brokenhearted but grateful for these two beautiful souls to be together in the next life. George was a devoted husband and father who loved his family and America. He was drafted to the Korean War and was in the 101st Airbourne Division of the United States Army, the Screaming Eagles. He also loved to swim and had the opportunity to swim in the Olympics for Hungary or come to America and he chose the American dream. He was mischievous and adventurous and loved to hike, bike, ride motorcycles, and to spend time outdoors. He could build and fix anything and was always happy to lend a helping hand -- there was nothing that he couldn't do, but above all he provided a Christ-like example and was a blessing to many.
Graveside services were held on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at the Ogden City Cemetery, Ogden, Utah.
