St. George, Utah - In loving memory of Gerald M. Bowen, born February 13, 1927 and passed away August 16, 2011, at the age of 84. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Barbara; his son, Shayne and his wife Andi; his daughter, Kristy and her husband Bart; his granddaughters, Staci and Cassandra; 5 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren, as well as many, many friends and family members. He was a family man first and foremost, and a man of many accomplishments. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Metcalf Mortuary Chapel, 288 West St. George Blvd., St. George, Utah. Visitations will be held at Metcalf Mortuary Friday evening from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday, prior to services, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. Interment will follow at the St. George City Cemetery.
