St. George, Utah - Miss Glenna Hougaard 87, went home to be with the Lord on December 6, 2013. She was born July 23, 1926 in Garland, UT. to Wilford Ray and Elizabeth Gee Hougaard. She was a member of the LDS church and raised and educated in Garland, UT. After school she moved to Los Angeles, CA. and lived there until retiring and moving to St. George, UT. As a young child and teenager she truly enjoyed attending church and sewing. She also enjoyed reading, horseback riding and traveling. Glenna is survived by her brother, James Hougaard of Las Vegas,NV; nephew, Michael Hougaard of Las Vegas, NV; niece, Dawna Symes of Elko, NV; five great-nephews; two great -nieces; and several great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Howard R. Hougaard.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Morningside LDS 2 ^nd Ward Chapel, 881 South River Road, St. George, Utah. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Metcalf Mortuary, (435) 673-4221.
