Gwen was an incredible woman. She was a passionate and kind person who touched the hearts of everyone she met. Gwen loved shopping and had a knack for finding the perfect outfit with perfect accessories and fabulous shoes. She was a strong, independent woman who had a flare for life and was fiercely funny. When she met Rodney, she was sporting her signature, fiery red hair and was driving a red 1984 Pontiac Firebird. Gwen graduated John F. Kennedy High School in Taylor, MI and lived in Mississippi, Alaska and Tennessee through her youth. She finally settled in Michigan working for Blue Cross Blue Shield in metro Detroit. Gwen was very active in clubs and associations throughout her life including the PTA, the Belleville High School Marching Band Boosters, the Red Hat Society, and may others. Gwen also dedicated her time to volunteering and worked for Edgemont Elementary School, Belleville High School, and the Huntsman Games. In her later years, Gwen took up golfing because of the cute outfits and after two years of playing golf, achieved a hole-in-one with a fabulous pink golf ball.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that a donation be made in Gwen's honor to the Pancreatic Cancer Foundation: https://www.pancan.org/ways-to-give/ .
The family also wishes to thank the kind nurses, doctors, and staff at Intermountain Hospital and Hospice.
