Hanne Lind Christensen

Hanne Lind Christensen, beloved mother, grandmother, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones at the tender age of 75, on May 1, 2026 in St. George, Utah.

Born March 4, 1951 in Odensa, Denmark, to Jens and Sophia Jensen. Hanne lived a life grounded in faith, service, and love. As a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she faithfully served in many callings throughout her life, touching countless hearts with her kindness, testimony, and willingness to serve.

On August 4, 1972, Hanne was sealed for time and all eternity to the love of her life, Davis in the Salt Lake Temple. Together they raised two daughters that were the light of her world.

Hanne was a devoted mother and grandmother; cherishing time spent with her family. She found joy in spoiling her grandchildren through her many talents. She was an extremely talented quilter and baker and all that were lucky enough to know her received something that she lovingly made for them. She had a generous heart and once you stepped through her front door you became family. She received the honorary title of Grandma Hanne from all of the kids that she generously hosted throughout the years.

Hanne is survived by her loving husband, Davis Christensen; two daughters: Cathy (Boyd) Halvorsen and Cindy (Justin) Wood; and her seven grandchildren: Aspen (Jacob) Anderson, Emma (Kaden) Morrison, Dylan Halvorsen, Kye (Ambria) Zaxton, Danniqa, Kasia and Zylee Wood.

We find peace in the knowledge that through the Atonement of Jesus Christ and His Resurrection, families can be together forever. Hanne’s testimony of the Savior was unwavering, and she now rests in His loving care.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the LDS Meeting House located at 511 South Valley View Drive, St. George, Utah. Interment will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the Camp Williams Cemetery.
