Washington, UT Heath Gordon Varney age 39 passed away June 28, 2021. He was born on May 22, 1982, in American Fork, UT to Gordon A. and Edith Varney. He married Trisha Evans on May 13, 2005, in the Manti, Utah Temple. Together they have four beautiful girls.
Heath grew up in Lindon, UT where he attended Aspen Elementary, Oak Canyon Jr. High and Pleasant Grove High School. After high school he moved with his parents to Santa Clara, UT. In 2001 he served an LDS Mission in Tampa, FL. After returning home from his mission, he met his forever love, Trisha.
Heath and Trisha moved to Laramie, WY where Heath furthered his education attending WyoTech where he received a diploma in auto mechanics. After returning home to St George, he worked for Stephen Wade Auto and then later joined his dad in running a home restoration company, Back to Perfection. Heath and Trisha also lived in Seattle, WA for a short time which they both loved. Recently he worked for Stevens Mill and for the last few months worked for UDK.
Heath was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter -day Saints. He served in many callings including the Young Men, Primary and recently taught the youth in Sunday School. He was loved by all he taught.
Heath loved spending time with Trisha and his girls watching TV together as a family or anything where they could just be together. He enjoyed classic old cars and spent time with his dad and friends at Hot August Nights in Reno. He enjoyed watching his favorite teams the Eagles and Astros.
Heath is survived by his wife, Trisha; their daughters: Adyn, Piper, Archi and Letti; his parents, Gordon and Edith (Santa Clara); siblings: Ashley & Randy Southam (Santa Clara), ShayLynn & Chad Taylor (Lehi); Trisha's parents, Carlyle and Kari Evans (Beaver); her siblings: Kyle Evans, Lester & Nina Evans (Delta) and Lori Barton (Cedar City); many nieces and nephews who he loved to tease!; and extended aunts, uncles and many cousins.
Heath you were an amazing example to all of us of love, compassion, kindness and always making us laugh. We will miss you every day and we look forward to being together as a family forever again someday.
Thank you to all the ward members, neighbors, friends, and family for all the care and love they have shown to Trisha, their girls and other family members.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 3, 2021, at 1:00 p.m., with a visitation prior from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at the Sienna Hills Ward Chapel, 1500 East Ridge View Drive, Washington, Utah. Interment will be in the Washington City Cemetery, 300 Park View Drive.
