Hella Maria Hudson, age 97, passed away October 21, 2025, in St. George, Utah. She was born on August 4, 1928, in Germany. She was a teenager during WWII in that country. She married Lewis Manselle Hudson on June 2, 1969, in Trier, Germany. They came to the United States shortly thereafter.

Hella followed in her father's footsteps and became a fine artist. She was part of the Artist's Gallery in Ancestor Square. She made many friends in the art community in St. George.

A gathering of friends will be held in her honor on Monday, October 27, 2025, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd. Interment will be at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City, NV.
