Ida Mary Seegmiller, 88, passed away on January 27, 2010 at home in St. George, Utah. She was born March 19, 1921 in Middleton, Utah to Edward Meeks and Delcena Prince Mickelson. Ida graduated from high school and attended Dixie College. She married William Wendell Seegmiller on December 18, 1940 and together they had seven children. They lived in the Washington Fields, and raised their family on a dairy farm and in the later years a pheasant hunting preserve. Ida worked at her husband's side on the farm and kept the business records. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served in many callings. She is loved by her family and all that knew her and will be greatly missed. Ida is survived by her children, Edward (Sherie), Ross (Sandy), Ralph (Linda), Phillip (Carol Anne), Carol McMisty, Kathryn, and Laurie Ford; 28 grandchildren; 96 great grandchildren; 13 great great grandchildren; brothers Peter (Laurel), William (Arlene), and Gilbert (Erika); and a sister ElLouise (Kay) Stucki. She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; sisters Dorothy Brothers, Marie Thomas and Anna; and brothers Mark, Ross (her twin) and Meeks. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 1, 2010 at the Little Valley LDS Stake Center, 1762 S. River Road, St. George, Utah. A viewing will be held Monday from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the Stake Center. Interment will be in the Washington City Cemetery, Washington, Utah.
