St. George, UT - Ileen Stringham Webster, age 88, passed away July 6, 2009 in St. George, UT. She was born December 12, 1920 in Delta, Utah to Ancil Clyde and Elsie Oldroyd Stringham. She was married June 4, 1943, to William Robert Webster at Deseret Chemical Warfare Depot, Tooele, Utah. Ileen and Bill lived in Denver, Colorado area for 23 years and in Easton, Pennsylvania for 13 years. After Bills retirement, they came to St. George, Utah in 1982, where they enjoyed being members of the Bloomington Country Club and all their golfing friends they made. After her husbands death she moved to Sterling Court where she had many friends. She is survived by her son, William Robert (Diane) Webster, Jr., Horseheads, NY; daughters, Jerrilyn Webster of Las Vegas, NV., and Shelly Webster (Mark) Gaulin of Severna Park, MD; brother, Clyde (Donna) Stringham of Midvale, UT; nine grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Her parents, brother Marion Stringham, and sister Clayone Stringham Hepner, and her husband Bill after 58 years of marriage, preceded her in death.
