Hurricane, UT - Iris Georgia Connelly Roberts passed away on July 2, 2009 in Hurricane, Utah. She was born July 22, 1931 in Levan, Utah to George Graham Connelly and Esther Eliza Gardner Connelly. She graduated from Granite High School in Salt Lake City and married LaVon Barney Alvin Roberts on July 13, 1953 in the Manti Temple. They have four children: Susan (David) Fullmer, Frank (Jan) Roberts, Paul (Janae) Roberts, and Carolyn (Ken) McCauley. Iris experienced great success selling Avon and made many friends. In 1993, they moved to Hurricane to enjoy the warm weather and a new home. Iris is survived by her loving husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and four sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother. The family would like to thank Hurricane Rehabilitation Center for their kindness and care. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the Hurricane LDS Stake Center, 677 South 700 West, Hurricane, Utah. Family and friends are invited to offer condolences one hour prior to services at the Stake Center. Interment will take place at the Hurricane City Cemetery.
