Cedar City, UT - Belle passed away November 1, 2013, peacefully surrounded by her family members in St. George, Utah. She was born May 4, 1923 to Isabelle and Peter Neilson. She was raised and completed her education in Washington, Utah. She was the third of thirteen children. She married Melvin F. Hulet, December 10, 1941, in the St. George Temple. They lived in Montana and Washington while he finished his military service. Then settled in Newcastle, UT where they were blessed with four children, three sons and one daughter. They moved to Cedar City in 1963 and settled permanently there. She always had an amazing memory and shared stories of her life and experiences with all her family. She was an active member of the LDS church. She served many callings throughout her life until health reasons prevented her from more active participation. She is survived by three of her children: Kenneth Hulet, Daryl (Jenny)Hulet and Sandra Hulet-Henrie. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and thirty-eight great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by three sisters, Gaydria Russell, Janice Hoffman and Linda (Randy) Wilkinson. She is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin, one son Clair and one grandson Craig. Eight brothers and one sister also preceded her in death: Jay Peter Neilson, Clifford Wayne Neilson, Clemont Monte Neilson, Demoin Neilson, LaVan D. Neilson, Byron Earl Neilson, Ray DeVar Neilson, Jerry Pete Neilson and Mary Jean Neilson Anderson. Funeral services with be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd., St. George, UT. A visitation will be held prior to services from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment will follow at the Washington City Cemetery.
