St. George, Utah –

Jaci Aline Sledge Larsen, 49, left this life peacefully from the comfort of her home, on January 11, 2018. She was born July 10, 1968 in Las Vegas, Nevada to Janet Hawes and Robert John Sledge.

Jaci grew up in Las Vegas until she finished high school. Shortly after, she moved to St. George, Utah, she began investigating the LDS church. She loved obtaining the knowledge that families can be together forever. Jaci was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on April 6, 1991.      During the time she was learning about the LDS church, she met her sweetheart, Ronald Reed Larsen. She knew from the moment she saw him that they would be together forever. They were married civilly on August 15, 1991 at the Cotton Mill in Washington, Utah. After Jaci had been a member of the church for a year, Ron and Jaci were sealed for Time and All Eternity in the Manti Utah LDS Temple.

Jaci experienced many trials in this life, but she could always be found with a smile on her face and a willing hand to help others. Her example of charity was realized as she enjoyed being a hospice nurse and CNA for many years. She had a special talent for taking care of others in their times of need. She was blessed with the ability to love others as the Savior does.

She had a love for all animals. Anytime she saw an animal roaming the streets, she would do all she could to find its home.

Jaci loved her family most of all. She was always there to listen, then help in any way she could. There was never a fight or argument that didn't end with an "I love you", or an "I'm sorry".

Jaci's legacy lives on by her loving husband, Ron; her four children: Cierra (Justin), Dakota (Chandler), Chase (Alli), & Carli (Matthew); adored grandkids: Sydni, Kadin, Kol, Mattix, with one more on the way.

She was welcomed into heaven by her loving mother, Janet Hawes; grandparents, Tuffy & Rosalie Askin, and father-in-law, Carl Larsen.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bloomington LDS Stake Center, 200 West Brigham Road, St. George, Utah. Visitations will be held Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd. and on Tuesday, prior to services, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Stake Center. Interment will be in Tonaquint Cemetery .
