Obituary

Bountiful, Utah – Jack Lorin Dayley, 95, passed away August 22, 2024. He was born on November 30, 1928, in Burley, Idaho to Soloman Frederick and Neva Viola Dayley. Jack was the second of 12 children.

Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Pattsy Ann. He is survived by daughter, Debbie Dayley; daughter Johnna Gilson (Clyde); son, James Dayley (Elizabeth); daughter, Patsy Messer (Brett); and daughter, Ruthie Hamilton (Greg). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nine siblings and their families.

Jack was a proud Veteran of the Korean War where he served with the Oklahoma National Guard in the 145th Infantry. He lived in the Seattle area for over 35 years where he worked for Boeing in mechanical engineering. Jack and his wife Pattsy would have been married 60 years this coming December.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 7, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. in the Morningside Chapel, 930 Morningside Drive, St. George, Utah. A visitation will be held Saturday, prior to services, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at the church.

Interment with Military Honors will take place at Tonaquint Cemetery, 1777 South Dixie Drive, St. George, Utah.
