Obituary

Hurricane, Utah – Jacob Ralph Schmier, 81, passed away July 10, 2019, in Hurricane, Utah. He was born May 9, 1938 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Jacob and Dora Veto Schmier. He married Reva Lynn Elmhurst on July 11, 1970 in Hayward, California.

He is survived by his wife, Reva; children: Pamela, Dana and Jake (Amy); grandchildren: Natalie (Austin), Heidi, and Robert; great-grandchild, Ryver; and siblings: Joyce, Don (Jenny), Wanda, and Jerry (Verlene). He was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Dora.

Graveside services will be held Monday, July 15, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hurricane City Cemetery, 526 West 600 North, Hurricane, Utah. A visitation will be prior to service from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Metcalf Hurricane Valley Mortuary, 140 North Main Street, Hurricane, Utah.
