Obituary

Washington, Utah – James Edward Fitzpatrick, devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed into eternal life of natural causes in Washington, Utah on January 22, 2017. He was born the youngest of four sisters and three brothers to John Joseph and Grace Dicus Fitzpatrick on April 6, 1928. He was educated in schools in Iowa and Nebraska. He was a veteran of the Korean War.
James married Lorraine Faye Greenwald on November 6, 1948 in Wayne, Nebraska. Their union produced three sons and one daughter: Marcia (Ron) Berry, Douglas Lee (Karen), James Owen (Gail) and Todd Michael (deceased). He was preceded in death by his wife, one son, three sisters and two brothers. He leaves behind one sister, Francis Wildblood; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
A funeral mass will be held Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. George Catholic Church located at 259 West 200 North. Interment will be at the Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Orange, California.
