IN LOVING MEMORY OF
James Michael
Little
July 12, 1947 – October 31, 2025
James Michael Little died Friday, October 31, 2025 after dealing with respiratory and cardiac complications. He died peacefully in his home, surrounded by his wife and two children in Hurricane, Utah.
Born in Moorestown, NJ, James was raised by his mother, Dorothy McGann Wetherill (deceased), and stepfather, Paul Wetherill (deceased). He graduated from Moorestown High School in New Jersey, before attending Fullerton Junior College in California.
While James was attending Junior College, he was working at Savon Food and Grocery. This is where he met the love of his life, Kathleen. They got married in 1969 in Anaheim, CA. Together they raised two beautiful daughters in Temecula, CA. James had a successful career with Savon's/Alberton's that spanned over half his life. At the age of 59, James and his wife moved to Hurricane, Utah, where he stayed loyal to his career at Albertson's and continued working for a few more years.
James was an avid watcher of sports. He was a fan of all sports teams in Philadelphia until he died. Whether he was watching the Eagle's win the superbowl, or watching them lose to the Giants, he was always smiling and laughing with his family while it happened. More than anything, he loved his family and friends. He was a devoted husband, a wonderful father and a grandpa that could never say no to his five beautiful grandkids.
James survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Kathleen Little, and their two children, Kelly Little Blodgett [children; Tanner (13), Blake (10)] and Kate Little Kovacs [spouse Zoltan; children Conor (20), Evan (19), Izabella (18)]. He also leaves behind his two loving sisters, Debbie Wetherill Herndon (spouse Steve) and Patrice Wetherill (spouse Lupe). Although he will be leaving his sisters, he will be reuniting with his twin brother, Edward Little (spouse Carol Little).
James left an undeniable impact on everyone he surrounded himself with: sacrifice and service to his family was superior; of work ethic and integrity; of love and family. He will be greatly missed.
