Washington, Utah – James Iverson Ott, 76, passed away from a pool accident on June 29, 2016 while vacationing in Las Vegas, Nevada to celebrate his 76th birthday and 38th anniversary to Sharon L. Ott. He was born June 25, 1940 in Salt Lake City, Utah to James L. and Addie Iverson Ott. He was raised and educated in Salt Lake City, graduating from Olympus High in 1958. After serving in the U.S. Navy on the USS Ranger in the pacific, he married Sherry Mikesell. They had three children and later divorced. While working at Mountain Fuel Supply, Jim met Sharon L. In 1980 they vacationed in Fort Myers Beach, FL where they returned every year. He looked forward to their Hawaii trips and helicoptering over the islands.
