Beryl, Utah - James F. Pearce, born May 2, 1933 in Lyman, Wyoming to James (Jim) Franklin and Eileen Walker Pearce, was called home on March 19, 2012.

He is survived by his wife, Joleen; his children: Leona (Benny) Gustafson of Hewett, TX, James (Christina) Pearce of Beryl, UT, Darreld (Kathy) Pearce of Navarre, FL, Mary Ann (Luman) Judd of Warner Robins, GA, Lisa (Phillip) Kellner of Bedford, TX, Joseph (Tracy) Pearce of Recluse, WY, Eric Pearce of Las Vegas, NV, and Jodimae (Jeremy) Hanks of Las Vegas, NV; 23 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Charles (Joyce) Pearce of Overton, NV; sisters: Edna Quimby of Las Vegas, NV and Marilyn (David) Mitchell of Blanchland, WV; and nieces and nephews.

James served in the U.S. Military as did his brother, four sons, a son-in-law, daughter-in-law and three grandsons, some of which were career. His passion was animals, especially his horse and killer dogs.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Enterprise LDS 5 ^th Ward Chapel, 620 Main Street, Enterprise, Utah. A visitation will be held Saturday, prior to services, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. at the Chapel. Interment will follow in the Beryl City Cemetery.
