JAMES RUSSELL Stearns a.k.a Uncle Jim, Dirty Uncle Jim, Jimbo, Jimmy, passed away peacefully on 10/27/2026.

Jim was born in San Diego ,California to James and Beverly Stearns. He is proceeded in death by is Father James, mother Beverly, and His Sister Charlene. Jim left behind his loving wife Nicole Stearns, sons Tim And Andy (Brianna) Stearns, his grandchildren Tanner Jo and Andrew James's Jr., Mariah, Everleigh, and Paisley Young. His step kids Taylor, J.D. Hunter, and Dakota Young. Jim was a mechanic for 30 years in San Diego and loved going to the desert riding his three wheeler and spending time with family and friends. He moved to Utah in 2011 where he made numerous friends. In 2020 He married the love of his life Nicole. He always said that Nicole completed him. Jim was a loving father and husband. When he made a friend it was for life. Jim loved all his friends as much as he loved his family.

Jim loved to do Karaoke. Some of his favorite songs to sing were Sweet Home Alabama, It's Been While, and the Dirty Songs.

We are going to miss him greatly. Just know he loved and cherished all the friends he made over the years. He was always so proud of sons Andy and Tim . He loved them so much. Know that he will be watching us all from above and will always be with us.
