Obituary

St. George, Utah - James P. Watters passed away September 8, 2011 in the Beehive Home in St, George. He was born December 26, 1931 in Oneida, TN. He served his country during the Korean War in the Navy. Jim founded many businesses and employed many people. He was responsible for the manufacturing of the first plastic molded ski boot by Scott and he manufactured the joy sticks for Atari. He will be remembered as a wonderful father and for his generosity and helping others. During his life he enjoyed golf, dancing, tennis, bowling and skiing.

Jim is survived by his wife, Esther Criss Watters; his four children: Rick Watters, Sidney Lockwood, Brenda Shaffer and Pride Watters; as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his loving sisters: Lillian McKendrick, Imogene Shaffer, Jeanine Casper, Gertrude Eckman and Mary Kopesec.

Special thanks goes to the staff at the Beehive Home for their kind and loving care of Jim since February 2011. A private farewell will be held by the family.
