St. George, UT - Janet Lynn Vance, 70, a resident of St. George for the past 12 years, passed away Monday, February 8th in her home. She was born and raised in Ely, NV and attended White Pine County High. Janet was active in the LDS church and served on an adult mission in Oregon. In her spare time, Janet enjoyed puzzles, reading, cross stitching, but most of all spending time with loved ones. Janet is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Inez Vance who were residents of St. George, and survived by her brother, Bruce Vance of Reno, NV; her sister Diane (Vance) Shafer of Spokane, WA; and her children: Kevin Gulley of Fallon, NV, Michelle (Gulley) Stellman of Saratoga, CA, and James Comer of Fernley, NV. Janet took great joy in her 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. at the Lund Cemetery, Lund, NV. Visitation will be held Saturday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Lund LDS Chapel located at 100 S. Main Street. God Bless You Janet, Sis, Mom, Grandma.
