St. George, UT - Loving husband, brother, father and grandfather, Jay Bateman Holt passed away September 20, 2010 in St. George, Utah. He was born September 19, 1943 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Dale R. Holt Sr. and Melba Bateman Holt. Jay married his sweetheart, Anita Burgess, on May 8, 1964 in St. George, Utah. Jay was a member of the LDS church. He loved playing and watching sports, he was an avid golfer, loved to fish and be in the outdoors. He is survived by his wife Anita; his sons, Kurtis, Burton, Barry, a daughter, Renita, and nine grandchildren. He is also survived by siblings: Dale R. Holt, Jr., Janice Peterson and Bryce K. Holt.
