Obituary

St. George, Utah - Una Jean Brown Perkins passed away October 6, 2016. She was born August 30, 1928 in Grantsville, Utah to John C. and Eva Maria Jacobson Brown. She married Clyde B. Perkins in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on October 6, 1948.

Mom and Dad were married for 68 years and were an example to us children of what a happy and enduring marriage should be. Mom passed on their 68th wedding anniversary.

Jean was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and lived her life accordingly and served in many capacities.

She is survived by her husband, Clyde B. Perkins; four children: Larry (Treasa) Perkins, Bonnie (Tom) Smith, Shirlene (Brent) Packer and Jeff (Heather) Perkins; two sisters: RaeNee Russell and Marlene McBride; 16 grandchildren; and 37 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the River Ridge LDS Ward Chapel, 2434 East Riverside Drive, St. George, Utah. Visitations will be held Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd. and on Tuesday, prior to services, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at the Chapel. Interment will be in Tonaquint Cemetery.

We wish to thank our other family, Season's Health and Rehab Center for the exceptional care given to Jean over the past 11 years. We are so grateful.
