St. George, Utah – Jeanette Bracken Hall returned home on November 5, 2021, in St. George, Utah at the age of 63, surrounded by her family.

Jeanette was born September 25, 1958, to Virginia and Elton Hall, and graduated from Enterprise High School in 1976. She worked at Hurst's Ace Hardware for nearly 30 years of her life. She loved Ross, Julie, and the Hurst family.

Jeanette raised her children to value family and honesty. She was a great mother-in-law. She loved the LDS church and her ward and could never imagine living anywhere else. Her friends were treasured for life. Jeanette was a cub master, a webelos leader, a committee chairman, and a merit badge counselor. She gave 24 years of her time and energy to teaching her scouts and was proud to encourage all three of her sons to achieve their Eagle Scout awards. She showed her children they could learn and do anything they set their mind to. Her path was not always easy, and she faced many obstacles with faith and an inspiring amount of resilience. She was strong, independent, and stubborn to a fault, but loved unconditionally. Her grandchildren were the light of her life.

Family history, genealogy, hiking and exploring Native American history were some of her passions. She loved to work with her hands, sewing, quilting, or crocheting blankets. She loved riding horses, camping, and bringing her family together. Not a single-family birthday will pass without thinking of her famous caramel brownies. It didn't matter where her children lived in the world, if it was their birthday, a carefully packaged parcel would arrive by mail, without fail. Jeanette was the heart of her family and will be greatly missed.

Jeanette is preceded in death by her parents, and her sons, Brandon and Chad.

She is survived by her children: Tyrel Bracken, Jodi Bracken, Jamie Harmon, Shannon Carrasco, Dakota Bracken, and Justin Bracken; as well as her grandchildren: Alex, Logan, Austen, and Jenna who should have had many more years with their grandmother.

There will be a viewing Thursday, November 11, 2021, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd, St. George, Utah. Services will be held Friday, November 12, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., with a viewing prior at 9:30 a.m., at the Westridge Chapel located at 415 Westridge Drive in St. George. Jeanette will be laid to rest in the Enterprise City Cemetery following the services.
